And that, by magic, the structure of its first atoms, its galaxies and its clusters are revealed to your eyes… A curious mechanism… is set in motion, spontaneously… it carries with it, in a rhythmic pattern as if chiselled with a scalpel, a set of sounds coming straight from the near (or not so near) borders of our universe. “
Halo is both a spatialized electro-acoustic improvisation of sounds from the universe and a video installation immersing the viewer in the meanders of models of the probable structures of dark matter in the universe.
Like three strips of Möebus arranged in a Borromean knot, Halo is a plunge into the macroscopic, or the microscopic, because, strangely enough, they are so similar…
